Photochemical Etchning & Milling

Introduction to the Technology

FURTHER INFORMATION >

Photochemical etching/milling is a sophisticated technology, dedicated to the manufacturing of metal objects and components of high complexity, and requiring minimal dimensional tolerances. This process is based on the controlled removal of metal through means of combined chemical-physical action.

The flexibility of the technology allows to produce objects of virtually any shape or dimension, in a wide range of of materials and profiles, starting from any image sup-plied by the client.

LASER PRECISION CUTTING

Introduction to the Technology

FURTHER INFORMATION >

Laser precision cutting allows to etch metal without physical contact, minimizing stress and loads on the materials, hence eliminating any deformation, typical of mechanical cutting/etching. The cutting process occurs through a high-intensity laser beam, directed towards the metal at a temperature sufficient to induce localized melting.

Chemical Machining's laser cutting systems enable us to satisfy extreme requests in terms of delivery timing, design precision/tolerances and costs, even for small batches.

SERITRONICS SMT DIVISION

Introduction to the Technology

FURTHER INFORMATION >

Chemical Machining - through Seritronics, its division entirely dedicated to SMT- has accumulated over 10 years of experience in the design and production of stencils and print screens for surface mount technology. Seritronics is equipped to manufacture stencils featuring auto-aligning capabilities.

ELECTROFORMING

Introduction to the Technology

FURTHER INFORMATION >

Electroforming is an inverse process to photochemical etching, one in which metal is layered on a mould of conductive material, which reproduces - as a "negative" - the image to be manufactured. This way, a faithful reproduction of the image chan be achieved.

SURFACE FINISHING & POST-PROCESSING

The Service Offered by Chemical Machining

FURTHER INFORMATION >

Beyond its main activity as supplier of etching/cutting services, Chemical Machining can arrange and manage additional post-manufacturing processing and finishing that may be required by clients.
