Surface Mount allows to reduce the dimension of components and quantity of con-nectors used in many electronic circuitry, thanks to direct contact with the surface of the circuit board.

Moreover, this solution allows:

• Maximum automatization and speed increase in the assembly process.
• No wastage due the necessity of cutting the circuit board.
• Application of components on both sides of the circuit board.

Chemical Machining – through Seritronics, its dedicated SMT division – has accumulated a decade-long experience in the design and production of stencils and prints for Surface Mount. The research and development department is constantly up to date with the possible optimizations suitable for each new component.

This focalisation has allowed Seritronics to remain at the forefront of the sector: the firm in fact owns numerous patents. For example, special finishes such as Chamfer-ing and Armouring allow stencils to reach maximum precision during the phase of setting on the circuit board.

Technical Specifications

Our stencils, manufactured through photochemical etching and laser precision cutting, allow for optimal stability throughout time, without modifying their yield during use. Seritronics is able to produce both standard and auto-aligning stencils.
